Ikatan Mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Inggris (IMAJI) was established on January 23rd, 1946 at Yogyakarta. IMAJI is domiciled in Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jalan Nusantara No. 1, Bulaksumur, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
IMAJI is a medium for English Department students to practice ability of devising, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating activities through many programs predetermined before. By the assistance of the lecturers and every element of the managements and also the members, IMAJI is supposed to be able to distribute English Department students’ aspirations, interests, and talents as well as vision and mission of IMAJI.
VISION
Capability to distribute aspirations, interests, and talents as high as possible.
MISSION
1. As a medium of English Literature students to discover, review, implement, and improve students’ knowledge, talent, and interest.
2. As a medium to interact and communicate between students with students and students with lecturer.
3. As a medium to accommodate and distribute aspiration of English Literature students.
4. As a mediator for English Literature students to contact faculty institution or individual and alumni.
